- What is it? A child may be being abused by caretakers or other children in school.
- What does it look like? Hair pulled out in clumps.
- Who does it affect the most? Children who are deaf, cannot speak, cannot communicate, Autistic children or children otherwise subject to bullying.
- Solutions: Try and communicate with the child to find out if someone pulled his or her hair out. For younger children, you can pay an unexpected visit to their nursery school or kindergarten to investigate. Only a doctor can tell you if the hair has been ripped out.
