This rumor unfortunately is true. Some pharmacies charge much more money for the same exact generic medications. While a pharmacy’s location in Canada gives it more credibility, it doesn’t mean that they have to charge you up to 3,000% more than a pharmacy in India. They’re paying roughly the same thing for the medication as other places – they’re just charging you a lot more. If you are paying for a doctor’s consultation, ask yourself why not just actually go to your own doctor? It could be cheaper!
And if you think that the medicine quality is better because it’s a Canadian pharmacy, that may not be the case. Generic medicine is generic medicine – chemically identical. And guess what?
