Rogaine is the only FDA approved medicine to treat female hair loss is Rogaine. However, note that it is only the 2% solution that is approved for women, NOT the 5% solution. I did read, though, that some doctors will prescribe the 5% Rogaine for patients under their close supervision. From what I read, generic Rogaine is just fine and about half the cost (at least). You can buy generic Rogaine at Rite Aid, CVS or whatever. When I have time I’ll compare the prices, for now, I’ll put a link to buy generic Rogaine online in case you don’t feel like going broadcasting to everyone in the drug store that you’re fighting your hair loss, LOL.
